Are you looking for ways to build your list? Have you tried marketing with Facebook?
With well over 1 billion users, Facebook is THE place to be if you want to attract more prospects and to increase your list of followers.
Today we are going to learn about marketing with Facebook, a perfect tool for list building!
Let’s see what are the few tricks you can use when marketing with Facebook:
Spend time creating a KILLER Facebook Ads campaign
While you can invite your friends and acquaintances to like your official page, they are not necessarily your target audience – and this is what you need at this point.
Facebook has this super amazing feature for official pages that you too can use. It is called Facebook Ads and it can make your posts viral, resulting in LOTS of interaction.
Is this awesome or what?
You will have to pay for these Ads, but if you think about it… in the long run, it’s all to your advantage. It’s a small price to pay for a big result.
The best things about Facebook Ads are:
- you have complete control over your daily budget
- and you can create a profile of your ideal customer (age, gender, marital status, setting / location, interests, etc.)
Creating ads which bring results – If you want to benefit from the true potential of Facebook ads, you will have to spend some time crafting them.
Bonus tip: While you are marketing with Facebook Ads, spend time testing various ad formats. Use different images and different texts to see which ones perform better. Once you know which ads have the greatest impact on people, you can settle with 2-3 patterns and use them for a longer period of time.
Personally, I love Facebook Ads. The first time I used them I saw a great increase in the number of my followers – I was impressed (and damn happy!). I fully recommend you invest in this feature, because it is well worth its money.
But there are other ways in which you can promote your Facebook page if you do not want to spend money on it. Here’s one trick I L-O-V-E implementing in my business:
Include your Facebook URL everywhere
A free method of marketing with Facebook to attract more followers is to include your Facebook page absolutely everywhere you can. I do it like crazy!
Yep, not kidding. I always include the URL of my Facebook page everywhere I can:
- In my email signature
- On my website
- At the end of the email newsletters
- On my business card
- On any kind of free materials that I offer to my audience (ebooks, PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)
- During webinars or seminars
By the way, what are the other places you can think of where you can include your Facebook URL?
Wait, wait! I’m not done with this part yet . I have one more ace up my sleeve…
Even if you are not an online marketing guru, I am absolutely sure you are aware of the potential behind what I am about to tell you.
Did you ever think about inviting your email contacts to like your Facebook page? I mean, not just including your page in your email signature, but actually SENDING your contacts an email inviting them to LIKE your page?
If not, it is high time you did.
Think about it: you are spending most of your time communicating with your customers via emails. But you know how important it is to go beyond simple business connections; you know you want to develop true RELATIONSHIPS with your clients.
So send them an email and invite them to like your Facebook page. It is a great way of marketing with Facebook because you can give them special treats for being your followers – treats that would be meaningless without the context Facebook provides.
And this is how your list of followers will grow, and grow, and grow… and then…:
Share your website posts with your followers
Now that you have a decent amount of followers, it is time you nurtured your relationship with them.
You can do that by sharing great content; content that they, in their turn, will want to share with their friends. It is a great way of making your posts go viral!

One easy way to do that is to promote your blog posts on your Facebook page. This way you increase the number of website visits and you also establish yourself as the leader of your niche (by providing people with up to date, relevant information and tips which help solve their problems).
Don’t be frustrated if people do not immediately react to your posts. It takes time for that. Write blog posts on a consistent basis and keep doing it regardless of the interaction you get on Facebook.

So write blog articles and share them; and when people will need the kind of services you provide, their first option will be an expert – you.
Thus, blog posts can (and will!) bring you not only more followers, but also more customers, therefore contributing to increasing your business income.
Tadaaa! Now marketing with Facebook is no longer foggy. You have 3 strong tools to help you attract followers, engage with them and turn them into leads.
Let me know what you think!
