Last week, I told you about the ‘What do you want to know?’ form, which you can use to submit your questions regarding online marketing issues, that you are facing as a business owner. I got some real interesting questions and here is one of them.
Laura J. from UK : Hello Florentina, I enjoy every single newsletter that you send me and I learn a lot each week, but I want to learn more about Kloud.com and how can I improve my score. Any suggestions on how can I do that? My score is 16 and yours is 50 which is great. How did you do that?
Thank you for this question, I’ve picked yours because it seems like this is quite a hot topic and I know there are many others who want to know more about this.
So, here we go.
Here are 6 ways for you to improve your Kloud score:
1. Connect all your accounts you are active on
You ca n link up to 13 social networking accounts to Klout, including Blogger, Facebook, Flickr, Foursquare, Google+, Instagram, Last.fm, LinkedIn, WordPress, and YouTube, but you should link only the accounts that you keep up with and try to post as often as you can on each one of them
2. Know your market
Once you get to know your audience, you’ll be able to share, comment on, and ask questions about topics that interest them; and in return, they’ll be more likely to engage with you, which will increase your Kloud score.
3. Post relevant content for them
One of the quickest ways to raise your Klout score is to pile up Twitter retweets, Google+ reshares, and Facebook shares. The key is for people to see your content and think “I absolutely have to share that.”
4. Ask questions
The more questions you ask, the more answers you’ll get. This will also increase your Kloud score.
5. Start creating relationships
To increase your True Reach, you must build online relationships with people. The easiest way to do that is by talking to them, responding to their content, asking them questions, and commenting on their profiles.
6. Be consistent!!!
If you do all this just for one day and forget about it, NOTHING will happen. You really need to stick with the plan and do it for at least 2-10 a week. This is very important!
These are the main ways for you to improve your online influence, and Kloud score at the same time. If you want an answer to YOUR QUESTION use the “What do you want to know?” form and you may be featured in a future Evolve Issue!
